lauren sanchez wedding dress: Lauren Sánchez Shares First Photo with Husband Jeff Bezos from the Couple's Starry Venice Weddin
Lauren Sánchez has posted the initial photo from her wedding in Venice to her husband, Jeff Bezos.
Immediately after exchanging vows with Bezos on Friday, June 27, Sánchez officially revealed her marriage by updating her Instagram handle and bio to "Lauren Sánchez Bezos" just a few hours following the ceremony—she shared her first wedding photo with the billionaire founder of Amazon.
"06/27/2025 ♥️," the bride included in the caption of her post
She posted a picture from the outdoor garden ceremony, which PEOPLE confirmed was held on the island of San Giorgio Maggiore in Venice, Italy. Sánchez beamed next to Bezos, dressed in a lace wedding gown that showcased sheer lace sleeves, a mermaid-style shape, and 180 silk chiffon-covered priest buttons trailing down the front.
Shortly after Sánchez's post, Vogue revealed all the details about the wedding dress in its June 2025 digital cover story. Over a year and a half ago, Sánchez began collaborating with Domenico Dolce in New York to design her ideal Dolce&Gabbana dress.
“It evolved from ‘I want a simple, sexy modern gown’ to ‘I desire something that captures a moment,’ reflective of where I am now," Sánchez shared with the outlet. "I am not the same person I was five years ago.”
She noted that it was the first formal dress she has ever worn that is so modestly covered across the chest.
“It is.
Blue Origin's recent all-female flight to space — the crew of which included Sánchez, Katy Perry and Gayle King — represented the bride's "something blue." Sánchez told the outlet that she carried a secret souvenir up in the rocket so she could bring it back for her hubby, “because it was literally one of the most profound experiences I’ve ever had in my life. Seeing Earth from space, I came down and I couldn’t describe it. It was the greatest experience I’ve ever had. Jeff said, ‘It’s gonna change you more than you think,’ and it completely has, visually, spiritually.” Her Dolce&Gabbana earrings were her "something borrowed." The nuptials come after a source confirmed to PEOPLE that Sánchez and Bezos were engaged in May 2023. The pair were on vacation in the South of France when Bezos proposed. They first went public with their relationship in January 2019. Bezos popped the question with a ring estimated to be about 30 carats set on a four-prong platinum mounting. Jeweler and expert Briony Raymond told PEOPLE at the time that because of the ring's high color grade and clarity, it was estimated to have cost "anywhere from $3 million to upwards of $5 million depending on the exact specifications of the diamond."
